Being tall I have to grown to accept that most things aren’t designed for me (cars, plane seats, beds etc). With beds this becomes a compromise of sleeping with feet over the edge, sleeping with legs bent (v uncomfortable) or trying to sleep diagonally. The bed stretch moves the six inches of mattress you don’t need at the top of the bed (because you’ve got the pillow there) and places it where you do need it at the bottom. No more freezing feet and aching heels. Sleep is less disturbed and I feel much more rested. A brilliant answer to a lifelong problem. The company is first class for speed of delivery, communication and customer satisfaction. Don’t hesitate - just get one.

I'm 6'7" tall so I was pretty much resigned to spending my life sleeping in beds that don't quite fit me, but the pillow shelf has been a game changer! It added 6" to our super-king bed and now I fit it in without me feet hanging out the end! It really has transformed by sleep and I am so glad I found it. It's really easy to fit too. Easily 5 stars! I'd give it 6 if I could.

A wonderful solution to a lifetime problem! Having suffered the consequences of being too tall for a normal bed since I was 15 years old I am delighted to report that your product has transformed my nights in our newly extended bed! No longer do I lie diagonally across the bed, encroaching upon my wife’s side. No longer do I lie with my feet sticking out from under the duvet. The extra 6 inches makes all the difference and has also saved the considerable expense of a new bed which is not unnecessary. Thank you!

I really wanted a Otterman bed for the storage underneath but being 6ft 5 tall I also needed a 7ft bed the bed however ottermans aren't made with a 7ft base, the bedstretch was the perfect solution. An added bonus I didn't realise the legs were metal which aloud me to screw the bedstretch to my bed to make a it permanent (as I had ordered the wrong headboard). I saved a small fortune replacing my 7ft bed and the otterman bed lifts up perfectly with the bedstretch. I would certainly recommend this product

What a Difference a Shelf Makes Excellent product and customer service. I ordered the bedstretch Sunday evening, had a very pleasant phone call Monday morning confirming the order and checking sizes to ensure there were no problems. Bedstretch has solved a big problem for us and saved us a lot of money in the process. My teenage son is well over 6 ft and his younger brother is going the same way but we couldn't find any UK bed manufacturer making single beds over the standard length. The only option was buying a double bed which we didn't have the space or budget for. Then a friend told me about Bedstretch and for just £99 we had the perfect solution. I had worried that the padding might be poor or the bedstretch hard to install but this wasn't the case at all. Seen on TV some time ago but after buying a new bed I felt it was too short like in the demonstration video, that was me, I’m 5ft 9 but feet touched the bottom of the mattress where the beaded bit is.
